Old woman burned alive in own oven — two teenagers arrested
Innocent children or ice-cold murderers?
As reported today by the local police, two teenagers, a thirteen-year-old boy and a twelve-year-old girl, were arrested as suspects in a murder case, after the burned body of an old woman was found in the oven of her house in the woods.
During the initial interrogation, both suspects said they were innocent and claimed to have acted in the act of self-defence. They told the police that the old woman, who lived in a gingerbread-house, was a “Witch” and was trying to kill and to eat both. “That seems quite unlikely” — said Deputy Sheriff Johnson to our reporter. “I mean, it may be looked like gingerbread, but it was just old house out from wood. And the story the old woman was a witch! We have no such evidence in that case.”
Many details stay in the shadows. Who is this young teenager? Where are they come from? What we know so far that both suspects, we will call them Hansel and Gretel, told the police that they had a dysfunctional family and that the own father has forced them to leave the house and live in the woods. But till today, we couldn’t confirm or prove that the story they told the police were truth.
At the moment the police assume that is not out of question that we have here to deal with some kind of gang deadly ritual. The latest police theory is that the teenagers were looking for an easy victim to prove someone they would be capable of killing an innocent old woman and that in particular brutal and bestial way. The sequence of events was described by one of the police officers, as that the suspects asked the old lady to stay for a night. Apparently, on the next day they had an argument, regarding the lunch. While the boy was distracting the victim, the girl pushed her from behind directly in the hot burning oven and shut the door.
Regardless of the reason, we all agree that it was a horrible death, especially keeping in mind, that the reason was an argument about the food.
